As we move through the year, we want to keep members informed and aligned with how our training programs are structured and why?
Our annual programming is built around four key focus areas that support long term progress and overall health. FUNCTION and LONGEVITY, BUILDING A BASE OF STRENGTH, DEVELOPING ENDURANCE, and ENHANCING PERFORMANCE. Throughout the year, our classes and training cycles will rotate through these themes, ensuring balanced development, clear progression, and training that supports everyday life and personal goals.
FUNCTION & LONGEVITY
(highest priority)
Ability to perform everyday activities easily and safely while living life that is active, independent and free from chronic diseases and disability.
BASE OF STRENGTH
(major priority)
The initial and general level of physical strength and muscular endurance that serves as a robust groundwork for all other, more advanced or specific training goals.
ENDURANCE
(moderate priority)
The ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort, resisting fatigue over time, encompassing how long your heart, lungs and muscles can fuel activity without excessive tiredness.
PERFORMANCE
(minor priority)
The ability to execute physical activities effectively and efficiently specific to athletics and sport.
Our group programming priorities are intentionally structured to support long term health first, while allowing members to progress toward personal goals. By placing FUNCTION & LONGEVITY at the core, we ensure everyone can move well, stay active, and maintain independene over time. Building a solid BASE OF STRENGTH creastes the foundation needed for all other physical qualities, while ENDURANCE supports sustained effort and overall fitness. Finally, PERFORMANCE training allows those with sport or athletic goals to refine and apply these qualities effectively. This balanced approach ensures training that is purposeful, sustainable, and adaptable for every member.
